How to convert a PDF to images
- Choose a PDF. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
- Pick JPG or PNG, and a resolution.
- To convert only some pages, click them. Otherwise every page is converted.
- Press Convert. One page downloads as an image; several pages download as a ZIP.
Each image has a white background, the same as the page looks in a PDF reader.
Questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Pages are drawn as images inside this browser tab. The file never leaves your device.
Should I choose JPG or PNG?
JPG makes much smaller files and suits scanned pages and photos. PNG keeps text and line drawings perfectly sharp, but the files are larger.
Which resolution should I use?
72 dpi is enough for viewing on screen or sending in a chat. 150 dpi suits most documents. Use 300 dpi for printing or when you need to zoom into small text.
How do I get the images for many pages?
When more than one page is converted, the images come in a ZIP file, named by page number so they stay in order.
