How to split a PDF
- Choose a PDF. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
- To pull out some pages, keep "Extract pages into one PDF" and click the pages you want, or type them, for example 1-3, 5.
- To break the file into parts, choose "Split into several PDFs": every page, every few pages, or your own ranges.
- Press the button to download the new PDF, or a ZIP when there are several files.
Pages are copied exactly, so text stays selectable and links keep working. The original file is not changed.
Questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Pages are copied inside this browser tab. The file never leaves your device.
How do I write page ranges?
Separate pages and ranges with commas: "1-3, 5, 8-10". Leave the end open to go to the last page, as in "8-". In split mode, each range becomes its own PDF.
Can I change the page order while extracting?
Yes. Pages are extracted in the order you type them, so "5, 1-3" puts page 5 first. To rearrange freely, use Rotate & Reorder PDF.
What do I get when the PDF is split into several files?
A ZIP file containing one PDF per part, numbered in order. Most computers and phones open ZIP files with a double-tap.
