How to make a QR code
- Paste a link or type any text into the box.
- Choose an error correction level. Medium works for most uses; pick High if a logo or sticker may cover part of it.
- Change the colors if you like. Keep the code darker than the background.
- Download it as PNG or SVG.
The code is generated in your browser as you type. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere, and there is no tracking redirect inside the code, so it points straight to your link.
Questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The link or text is stored inside the code itself, not on a server, so the code works for as long as the link it points to works.
Which download should I use, PNG or SVG?
Use SVG for print, signs, and design tools, because it stays sharp at any size. Use PNG for documents, chats, and websites.
Can I use the codes commercially?
Yes. The codes you make are yours to use anywhere, including on products and packaging.
Why does my code not scan?
Most scan problems come from low contrast or a light code on a dark background. Keep the code dark on a light background and leave a quiet border around it.
