How to watermark a PDF
- Choose a PDF, or drop it onto the box.
- Pick Text or Image. Set the size, color, opacity, rotation, and position, or repeat it across the page.
- Check the preview, choose which pages to mark, then press Add watermark to download the new PDF.
For a classic diagonal "CONFIDENTIAL" or "DRAFT" stamp, keep the rotation at 45° and the opacity near 30%, so the page stays readable.
Questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The watermark is drawn in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Switch to Image, choose a PNG, JPG, or WebP picture, then set its size, opacity, and position. A PNG with a transparent background looks best.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Choose Selected pages and type ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-. The preview shows the first page you selected.
Can the watermark be removed again?
It is added on top of the page content, so anyone with a PDF editor can delete it. Keep your original file, and treat a watermark as a label, not as protection.
Does it work with letters like é, ü, or other alphabets?
Western European letters use a normal PDF font. Other alphabets (Cyrillic, Greek, Chinese, Arabic, and so on) are drawn as a sharp picture with a font from your device.
