How to make a printable calendar

  1. Choose a layout: the whole year on one page, a single month, or all twelve months as separate pages.
  2. Set the year, the language of the month and day names, whether weeks start on Monday or Sunday, and the paper size and orientation.
  3. Check the preview, then download a PDF to print or a 300 dpi PNG. Twelve-month PNGs come as one ZIP file.

A heading such as a family or team name appears above the title. The month layouts can include ruled notes lines at the bottom for plans and reminders.

Questions

Is anything uploaded?

No. The calendar is drawn in your browser and the PDF or PNG is made on your device. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Which languages are supported for month and day names?

Over twenty, including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Nordic, Central and Eastern European languages, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Greek, Turkish, and Vietnamese. The names come from your browser’s own language data. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and Hebrew are not available because the PDF font does not include them.

Does it mark public holidays?

No. Holidays differ by country, region, and year, so the calendar leaves them out. Use the notes lines in the month layout, or write on the printed page.

How do I print it at the right size?

Open the PDF and print it at 100% or "actual size", with your printer set to the same paper (A4 or US Letter) you chose here. The PNG is 300 dpi, which prints sharply at the full page size.

How are week numbers counted?

Week numbers follow the ISO 8601 standard used in Europe: weeks start on Monday and week 1 is the week with the year’s first Thursday. They are shown as a small number at the start of each row.
