How to make fancy text for a bio or caption
- Type or paste your text in the box. Every style updates at once.
- Find the style you like and press its copy button.
- Paste it into your Instagram or TikTok bio, a username field, a post, or a chat message.
Short phrases work best. Accented letters keep their accents in most styles. Some platforms limit which symbols are allowed in usernames, so check there first. Remember that styled text may not be readable by screen readers: do not use it for anything people must be able to understand or search for.
Questions
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The styles are made in your browser by swapping each letter for a look-alike Unicode character. Nothing is sent to a server.
Are these real fonts?
No. They are ordinary text characters from the Unicode standard, such as mathematical letters and circled letters. That is why you can paste them into Instagram, TikTok, X, Discord, or a chat: the apps only see text, not a font.
Are fancy letters bad for accessibility?
They can be. Screen readers often read each styled letter by its Unicode name, for example โmathematical bold capital Hโ, or skip it entirely, and search engines may not match the words. Use fancy text for decoration only, and keep your name, links, and key information in plain text.
Why do some letters show as boxes?
The device or app has no font with that symbol. Bold, italic, and script styles are widely supported, while squared, upside-down, and glitch styles are more likely to break on older phones. Try the style on the platform where you plan to use it.
Why are numbers or some letters unchanged?
Not every style has a character for every letter or digit. Letters that are missing stay as normal text, and other symbols such as emoji and punctuation are left alone.
