How to change the page size of a PDF

  1. Choose a PDF. The tool lists the page sizes it finds.
  2. Pick the new size: A4, Letter, Legal, A3, A5, or your own width and height.
  3. Choose how content fits (scale to fit, keep size, or fill), the orientation, and a margin.
  4. Check the preview, then press Resize and download.

The preview shows each page on the new paper, so you can flip through before saving. To put several pages on one sheet, usePDF N-up; to trim white borders, use Crop PDF.

Questions

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Pages are resized inside this browser tab. The file never leaves your device.

What is the difference between Scale to fit and Keep size?

Scale to fit enlarges or shrinks each page so all of it fits the new size. Keep size leaves the content exactly as large as it was and centers it, adding white space on a bigger page or cropping on a smaller one.

What happens to a PDF with pages of different sizes?

Every page is converted on its own, so a mix of Letter, A4, and odd sizes all come out at the size you chose. With "Match each page" orientation, landscape pages stay landscape.

Will text stay sharp and selectable?

Yes. Pages are scaled as vector content, not turned into pictures, so text stays crisp and searchable. Links and form fields do not carry over; flatten forms first if you need them to stay visible.
