How to reverse or loop a video
- Drop a video on the box and drag the range handles to choose the part you want.
- Choose Reverse, Boomerang, or Loop and set how many times it repeats.
- Keep or remove the sound, and choose MP4 or WebM.
- Press the save button, wait for the progress bar, and download the result.
The page tells you how long the result will be before you start. Short clips of a few seconds work best for boomerangs and loops.
Questions
Is my video uploaded?
No. The video is read, reversed, and saved inside this browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server.
What is a boomerang?
A clip that plays forward and then backward, over and over, like the boomerang effect in photo apps. Choose Boomerang and set how many times the forward and back pair repeats.
Is there a length limit?
The result can be up to 10 minutes long. The video is reversed in short pieces, so even a long clip does not fill the memory, but it takes time to encode. Use the range slider to pick a shorter part.
What happens to the sound?
It plays backward along with the picture, which sounds odd for speech and music. Uncheck Keep the sound to remove it. When looping, the sound loops too.
Which formats are supported?
You can open MP4, MOV, WebM, and MKV files that your browser can play, and save the result as MP4 or WebM.
